I feel honored! The Dutch nature photography website www.natuurfotografie.nl has featured a portfolio of me and my macro photography. I am answering some questions (all in Dutch language of course) and showing some of my ‘best’ pictures (which is actually a kind of ‘mission impossible). Still… I decided to make a combination of some older familiar photos with some new, till now not shown, ones. I hope you like my selection! Click here to see the entire portfolio.

It is now a little while ago, but you might reminder I received an award for my picture ‘Looking for shelter’ in the European Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest in 2015. Now this European Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition of 2015 is running in the Horniman Museum and Gardens (in London). And so the museum has dedicated one of their blogs to me and my photography. What an honour! Read more about the making of my winning picture and others on their blog.

Kristel Schneider is a photographer and workshop instructor. She is now living in France and has specialized in nature and landscape photography. On her website she is also active as an interviewer. Until now she has managed to interview several well known photographers from all over the world. She does so by thoroughly investigating the work of the photographers in question and by asking them profound questions. This time she has asked me and I feel very honored to be part of her series of interviews.
